5 One hour teleclass sessions

Do something good for your career by being a better marketer. If you’ve never taken a marketing class or you haven’t in a while, Master Marketing in No Time teleclasses are a fast and inexpensive way to bone up. Learn practical and applicable skills while you build your own defendable, revenue-generating marketing plan.

Marketing expert, Alyssa Dver will lead the one hour discussions over a 5 week period. Classes are limited to 10 participants. You’ll get invaluable feedback and the opportunity to learn from your fellow classmates.


Session 2: Tuesdays 8-9 pm EST

Sessions starts March 17 and run through Apr 14
No make-ups allowed. Sessions will be recorded for review after each class.

What: Live discussions with marketing expert, Alyssa Dver, and up to 10 peers.

Why: To assist participants in their understanding and development of a practical and effective marketing plan.

How: By reading and doing the No Time Marketing process, the teleclasses help keep individuals accountable so they make progress while gaining valuable feedback from Alyssa and the other participants.

Textbook used: “No Time™ Marketing: small business-sized steps in 30 minutes or less” by Alyssa Dver.   Provided with registration.

Phone-in only; no additional handouts or slides will be used.

Curriculum:

Pre-session homework: read Intro, Chapter 1 and Chapter 2,

Do Ch. 2’s Marketing Inventory;

Meeting 1:   The Meaning of Marketing and Doing Mean Marketing

Review Ch.1 – Why bother marketing? - What is marketing? Why is it important? Pull versus push marketing.
Review Ch. 2 – A Marketing Inventory - What and why a marketing inventory?
Preview Ch 3: Filling in the Blanks - Your Prospects & Customers; The Buying Process; Your Marketing Channels; Your Competition; Your Market

Homework assignment: Read Ch 3 and do To Do’s

Meeting 2: The Perfect Position

Review Ch: 3 Filling in the Blanks - To Do’s that fill in missing inventory gaps

Preview Ch 4: Position with Precision

Homework assignment: Read Ch 4 & 5 and do all To Do’s

Meeting 3: The Price is Right and so is the Position

Review Ch. 4:

Position with Precision - positioning statement, company image, company message

Review Ch. 5: Practical Pricing - cost per unit, competitive pricing, elasticity analysis

Preview Ch 6: Acquiring leads - push marketing

Homework assignment: Read Ch. 6 and 7 and do all To Do’s

Meeting 4: Spread the word well

Review Ch. 6: Acquiring Leads - placing your message

Review Ch. 7: Fostering Leads - lead follow up plans

Homework assignment: Prepare marketing plan according to template

Meeting 5: Bringing it all together

Review Ch. 8: Don’t Write, Present! - marketing plan presentations
